Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at this beautifully renovated mansion, it was fascinating to experience a blend of history and modern comfort. Nestled in an area rich with Ecuadorian architectural heritage, the ambiance made me feel like I was living in a museum, yet with all the conveniences I needed. The staff were particularly helpful, providing a 24-hour reception service that proved invaluable. When I needed assistance with a last-minute in-room PCR test, Andrea and Alejandra were quick to organize everything. The complimentary wireless internet and concierge services further streamlined my stay, allowing me to explore at my leisure. The narrow lanes to access the hotel could be a bit tricky for taxis, but it didn't detract significantly from the overall experience. The rooftop terrace offered nice views, and a picnic area enhanced the pleasant atmosphere of this charming establishment. It provided a unique glimpse into historical Ecuador while ensuring that guests' needs were well met.
